Why are we offering this service and why is it essential?

Neurological disorders affect a person's nervous system and can happen to people of all age groups. Physiotherapy can help people become active after a serious neurological injury or disease. An injury to a person's brain or spinal cord may cause death of cells which control specific movements and sensations, leading to loss of function. Should a person decide to pursue decreased activity instead, they may also experience additional health problems that can include lung or heart problems, decreased independence, diabetes, and an overall reduction in their quality of life. Physical therapy can help to prevent loss of function, helping a person to remain able to perform certain activities. Many people can learn to live independently once again through therapy. Physiotherapy can be a long-term requirement and expensive.

The primary goal of this physiotherapy centre is to provide free therapy services without compromise in quality. We hope that patients who are satisfied with our services will donate as per their affordability. We also invite corporates to support this venture through their CSR activities.

Nearly 5 lakh individuals residing in India suffer from Multiple Sclerosis (MS), but we currently do not have a clinic or rehabilitation centre anywhere in India that is focused to treating the various types of MS. Our long term goal is to establish a comprehensive rehabilitation centre to treat Multiple Sclerosis and other Neurological Disorders.This centre will have facilities for 30 inpatients, who would require extensive therapy.
